Standard Report Review

Overview

The Standard Report provides a breakdown of results by attributes (where applicable) and samples, as well as the analysis that was selected while generating the report.

Question Compatibility

The report is compatible with the following question types:
  1. Category
  2. Choose
  3. Comment
  4. Rank
  5. Same/Different
  6. Triangle
  7. Duo-trio
  8. Tetrad
  9. 2-out-of-5
  10. 3-AFC
  11. Torgerson's

Generate the Report

  1. In the test, click Results .

  2. If you need to exclude specific samples and/or sample sets from the analysis, click Filters .

  3. From the Reports tab, select Create report
    To access an existing report, click Recent reports instead, and download the report.

    There are four steps in the Create report area:
    1. Select report type : Select Standard Report .

    2. Select options : Review the available options in this step very carefully and select those that suit your analysis needs.
      If the Analysis options does not reflect the Multiple Comparison Test and Alpha required for your analysis, click Change advanced analysis options and make the necessary changes.
      Please refer to the Report Details section below for specifics corresponding to your particular report.

    3. Select questions : Select which questions and attributes you wish to include in the report.

    4. Select export type : Choose the export type that best suits your reporting needs:
      1. .docx - The report will generate as a Word Document file.

      2. .csv - The report will generate as a Comma Separated Values file. You may open it using Excel.

      3. .dat - The report will generate as a text file. You may open it using Notepad.

      4. Copy data for Excel - No files will be generated. The report data will be copied into the clipboard on your device so you may paste it into an Excel file.

  • Click Create my report . You will be taken to the Recent reports area.
    If in the previous step you selected Copy data for Excel , click Ready file to copy > Copy to Clipboard . Paste the data into an Excel file. You may ignore the remaining steps and go to the Report Details section.
  • Click the Download arrow.

  • Select Open with > OK . From the file itself, you can save the file to a location of your choice.
    1. Alternatively, when prompted by a dialog box as seen in the image below, you can select Save File and save it to a location of your choice.
    2. If you prefer to always open your reports, or to always save your reports, select the preferred option and then place a checkmark in the Do this automatically for files like this from now on before clicking OK . Every future report download will either automatically open or save, based on your selection.



    Report Details

    The Standard Report contents depends on the questions included in the report. The list below will be updated soon with links to the corresponding pages containing further analysis details for different question types.
