Set Automated Reports Emails

Overview

In addition to being able to generate reports in Compusense, some of them you can set up to automatically email out to recipients of your choice. You can specify what triggers the report to automatically email out without any additional manual intervention.

Idea
You can set up multiple automated report emails in the same test.

Report Compatibility

The following reports are compatible with the automated email feature:
  1. Standard report
  2. Summary report
  3. PowerPoint report
  4. Raw data exports

Send the Automated Report Email When Test is Set to Complete

Follow the steps below to automatically send a report to the recipients of your choice when the test is set to Completed.
  1. In the test, click Results .

  2. If you need to exclude specific samples and/or sample sets from the analysis, click Filters .

  3. From the Reports tab, select Create report .

    There are four steps in the Create report area:
    1. Select report type : Select one of the compatible report types.

    2. Select options : Review the available options in this step very carefully and select those that suit your analysis needs.
      If the Analysis options does not reflect the Multiple Comparison Test and Alpha required for your analysis, click Change advanced analysis options and make the necessary changes.

    3. Select questions : Select which questions and attributes you wish to include in the report.

    4. Select export type : Choose the report type where applicable.

  4. Click Schedule report . You will be taken to the Schedule report screen. Populate all the details below (they are all mandatory).
    1. Specify the report name.

    2. Enter the email addresses of the automated report email recipients. Separate multiple email addresses by a comma.


    3. Type the email body.

    4. From the Send report list, select When test is set to completed. Tests can be set to completed in the Run test tab.

    5. Click Schedule report .


Send the Automated Report Email When X Number of Results is Collected

Follow the steps below to automatically send a report to the recipients of your choice when the test reaches the specified number of completed results.
  1. In the test, click Results .

  2. If you need to exclude specific samples and/or sample sets from the analysis, click Filters .

  3. From the Reports tab, select Create report .

    There are four steps in the Create report area:
    1. Select report type : Select one of the compatible report types.

    2. Select options : Review the available options in this step very carefully and select those that suit your analysis needs.
      If the Analysis options does not reflect the Multiple Comparison Test and Alpha required for your analysis, click Change advanced analysis options and make the necessary changes.

    3. Select questions : Select which questions and attributes you wish to include in the report.

    4. Select export type : Choose the report type where applicable.

  4. Click Schedule report . You will be taken to the Schedule report screen. Populate all the details below (they are all mandatory).
    1. Specify the report name.

    2. Enter the email addresses of the automated report email recipients. Separate multiple email addresses by a comma.


    3. Type the email body.

    4. From the Send report list, select After results are collected and enter the required number of completed results to trigger the automated email.

    5. Click Schedule report .



Send the Automated Report Email When Test Expires

Follow the steps below to automatically send a report to the recipients of your choice when the test reaches the specified test expiry date.
  1. In the test, click Results .

  2. If you need to exclude specific samples and/or sample sets from the analysis, click Filters .

  3. From the Reports tab, select Create report .

    There are four steps in the Create report area:
    1. Select report type : Select one of the compatible report types.

    2. Select options : Review the available options in this step very carefully and select those that suit your analysis needs.
      If the Analysis options does not reflect the Multiple Comparison Test and Alpha required for your analysis, click Change advanced analysis options and make the necessary changes.

    3. Select questions : Select which questions and attributes you wish to include in the report.

    4. Select export type : Choose the report type where applicable.

  4. Click Schedule report . You will be taken to the Schedule report screen. Populate all the details below (they are all mandatory).
    1. Specify the report name.

    2. Enter the email addresses of the automated report email recipients. Separate multiple email addresses by a comma.


    3. Type the email body.

    4. From the Send report list, select When test reaches end date. Test end date can be set in the Run test tab.

    5. Click Schedule report .



Send the Automated Report Email on a Specific Date and Time

Follow the steps below to automatically send a report to the recipients of your choice on a specific date and time.
  1. In the test, click Results .

  2. If you need to exclude specific samples and/or sample sets from the analysis, click Filters .

  3. From the Reports tab, select Create report .

    There are four steps in the Create report area:
    1. Select report type : Select one of the compatible report types.

    2. Select options : Review the available options in this step very carefully and select those that suit your analysis needs.

    4. From the Send report list, select On a specific time and day and select the exact date and approximate time you wish the report to be automatically sent.

    5. Click Schedule report .




View/Edit/Delete Scheduled Reports

If you wish to view or edit scheduled reports, follow these steps:
  1. In the test, click Results .

  2. From the Reports tab, select Scheduled reports .


  3. Review existing scheduled reports and if desired, do one of the following:

    1. If you do not want to wait for the trigger to take effect, click Send now to send the report immediately.

    2. If you wish to make changes to the automation setup, click Edit.

    3. If you wish to delete the report, click the X.
