Click to remove the test from the web. Panelists will no longer have access to the test.

Reopen test for editing

When a test is in the Paused state and does not have results, you have the option to Reopen test for editing to make structural changes to the test (e.g. add or remove samples, add or remove questions or choices, etc.). For non-structural changes, such as updating text or sample names, for example, you can make those changes without the need to reopen the test for editing.

Test URL

The URL panelists will need in order to take the test.  Registered panelists will be required to log in before they can see the list of tests available to them.

If the test is set up for anonymous panelists, the link will take them directly into the test. This link is useful in lab testing when panelists usually have one test waiting for them, and in home use testing.

You can click Copy to clipboard to paste the Test URL into a browser or use the URL wildcard when inviting panelists. You can also generated a QR code for anonymous tests by using online tools and provide the QR code image to panelists.

Idea You can also set up booths on the panelist lab devices. You can find the Booth setup instructions on the Overview tab of the test.
Test start URL
While the previously mentioned URL enables registered panelists to log in and start a test available to them in the list of tests, this direct URL enables registered panelists to log in and go directly into a specific test, or if they are logged in already and click this link, they will be taken directly into that specific test.

This is useful in several scenarios:
  1. If your lab runs multiple tests at the same time and panelists are included in more than one of those tests. Panelists can simply click on a direct link or scan its QR code and bypass the list of all tests available to them to avoid any confusion if they are expected to take tests in a certain order, for example.

  2. If your lab runs multiple tests at the same time, you don't know who can come to which test, so you add all of your employee panelists in all those tests. Panelists can simply click on a direct link or scan its QR code and bypass the list of all tests available to them to avoid any confusion if they are expected to take tests in a certain order, for example.

With this approach, sample sets can be assigned on the first come first serve basis to ensure that maximum balance in the serve order is achieved without requiring panelists to enter the sample set they are evaluating.

  3. If your panelists are set up to use SSO (Single Sign On). In this environment panelists will be logged in all the time, so clicking on the direct link will take them straight into the test without even prompting them to log in.

If you would like to learn more about panelist SSO, please contact Compusense Support for details.
If the test is not running at the time when panelists click the link, they will be taken to the Home page where they can see the list of tests available to them.

Anonymous tests do not have Test start URL available in them.
