Overview

In the Overview tab, you will be able to set up the options that help identify the test. These options are standard across all test types.  

Available Options

Option Name
Option Description
Test Name  

You and other analysts will see this. Panelists cannot see the Test Name .

Time Zone 

Please ensure that the test is in the time zone relevant to the region where it will be running. 

Language 

This language selected will reflect on the buttons and other areas visible to panelists that cannot be modified in the test itself.  

Website 

Select from the list of panelist websites available to you.  
  1. Tests that are to be presented in the lab should have the 'lab' or 'internal' panelist website associated with them. 
     
  2. Tests that are to be presented outside of the lab environment, such as employee desks, CLTs, HUTs, etc., should have the 'external' panelist website associated with them.  
Your website may or may not include the words 'lab', 'internal' and 'external'. If unsure about which of your available websites to use, please contact our Support Team for assistance.            
Booth setup instructions 

A pop-up window outlining the steps to set up the panelist devices in your lab. Each device should have a unique booth number to easily and properly monitor test progress. For convenience, you can print the instructions by clicking  Print these instructions  .

You will only need to set up the booths once on the panelist devices. 

Tags

Add tags to your test previously predefined in the Tags library. This feature can assist you with test searches, reporting, etc.

Description 

Information about the test for reporting purposes, such as objective, method, etc., can be added here.  
  1. Use the formatting tools as needed.  
  2. Click the grey arrow in the bottom right-hand corner of the Description box and drag to resize the box. 
     

Advanced 

Use multiple sections in your test to evaluate completely different set of samples in one sitting. It is like multiple tests in one, but panelists don't know that!

You can even randomize the sections.





Any text entered into the fields will automatically be updated and saved.

Option Name
Option Description
Test ID 

An important unique identifier of the test. It can be useful for test searches and also when you contact Compusense Support for assistance. 

Status

There are four test statuses:
  1. In design - An analyst is creating the test by setting up the questions in the questionnaire, and adding samples, panelists, and a design.

  2. Running - The test is live and ready for data collection. Clicking the Start test   button in the Run test  tab makes the test available to panelists on the website.

  3. Paused - The analyst can click Pause test  on the Run test tab to stop the test from collecting results to either: 
    1. Make minor edits in the test and present it again.
      --or
    2. Set the test as Complete .
      --or
    3. Leave the test for later/discard it.

  4. Complete - When all required results have been collected, the analyst removes the test from the web in the Run test tab, by clicking Pause test    > Complete test  .

  5. Expired - When the test's End date has reached, the test will not be available to panelists and you will not be able to make any changes in the test. 

    If the test has collected results, you can click Complete from the Run test  tab of the test to mark the test as complete.

    Alternatively, you can adjust the End date field to activate the test to make any changes.

  6. Scheduled - The test is set to Running with a Start date set into the future. The test will be available to panelists on the website on the date and time specified in the Start Date field on the Run test tab.

This identifies what type of test is setup: 
  1. Standard
  2. Triangle
  3. Survey
  4. Same/Different
  5. Tetrad
  6. 2-out-of-5
  7. 3-AFC
  8. Duo-Trio
  9. Torgerson's
  10. A-Not A
Folder

This is the test's directory of where it resides.

Created by

The name of the analyst who created the test. 

Date created

The date when the test was first created.


History 

The Test history and Audit trail will provide you with details about activities in the test.
