Panelist Experience With Rewards Codes

Panelist Experience With Rewards Codes

Overview

When you are using the Rewards feature with codes it can be useful to know what the panelist experience is, to help you get the full picture of the process. On this page we will show you the panelist view, but if you have this feature enabled on your subscription, you are always welcome to log in as a panelist and see it all firsthand. To do that, you need to have your own or a guest panelist record.

Panelist Experience

When a panelist logs in, at the top of the screen they will see their points balance and the Rewards button.

Notes
Both of these features (Points balance and Rewards) need to be enabled for your panelist website in order for panelists to see them. Contact Compusense Support Team if your panelists cannot see these details.

When they click the Rewards button, they will be presented with a list of rewards to choose from, if any.

In the above image we can see that this panelist has a total of 10 points. They can see all the available rewards but can redeem their points only for rewards with the value within their points balance. If Susie, in our example, redeemed 10 of her points for the 5% Off Coupon because that coupon's points value is within her points balance, she would then be left with 0 remaining points.

Panelists can also choose not to redeem any points and continue collecting them to reach some of the more attractive coupons/discounts/offers.

When a panelist decides to redeem some or all of their points for a reward, they would select one of the enabled rewards and click Redeem. When prompted to confirm, they would click Redeem, and would get a confirmation whether it was successful.

At that same time, three things will happen:
  1. An automated email will be sent to the panelist informing them that their points were redeemed for a reward and providing them with the discount code.
    Example email:

  2. An automated email will be sent to an analyst or analysts informing them that one of the panelists redeemed their points, who the panelist is, what the reward ID and name are, and the reward code that panelist redeemed. Example email:

  3. The rewards code that they redeemed will be removed from the list of codes so that no one else can redeem the same code. Of course, if you imported duplicate codes into your reward (it is completely Okay to do that), the duplicates will be available until someone redeems them.
