Build: FCM For Choose 1 Questions
Overview
Enable FCM
To show the immediate feedback to panelists, you need to first enable that functionality. If you are not intending to show immediate feedback to panelists, do not enable this feature (you can still use the Targets and ranges for your reports). If you enable the feature but don't set the targets and ranges up, the feature will automatically turn off when you navigate away from the Training & feedback page.
- Go to the Build tab of your test and click Training & feedback.
- By default, you will already be on the Immediate feedback tab (see the right side of the screen). Toggle the Show feedback to panelists option to Show.

|
4
| Sample number and name

In the sample table, all the Choose 1 questions that exist in your test will be listed for each sample.

Manually Set The Correct Responses
In order to prepare the feedback for panelists, you need to set the correct responses for samples and
Choose 1 questions that you wish to provide feedback on.
Manual setup can be useful when there are only a few Choose 1 questions and a sample or two that require feedback. For larger number of Choose 1 questions and samples we recommend using the import method instead. See below for steps.
You can use Targets and Ranges to monitor your newly trained panelists' progress in your reports over time without showing them the feedback during the evaluation. It is OK, you are not being sneaky :)
- Go to the Choose 1 question you wish to enter the correct response for.
- Click in the Correct response box for the question and select the choice that corresponds to the sample. You can select only one correct answer for Choose 1 questions.
- Review the correct responses and click Save to save the changes.
The steps outlined above can be followed when setting up new correct responses or making updates to existing.
Export Correct Responses
It will be essential to have the correct responses in a proper format before being able to import them into Compusense. The best way to obtain the right format is by exporting the Choose 1 questions and samples out of Compusense and updating the file with your correct responses. The file will then be ready for import.
If you have not done that already, export the Choose 1 questions and samples tables:
- Go to the Build tab and click the Training & feedback button.
- Scroll down to the Choice questions section, click Export, save the file, open it and populate with the correct responses you compiled.
Please make sure that you are entering the
right value under the Choices heading/column. The Available choices column will assist you with the correct spelling of each choice. If a value you enter does not match one of the available choices, your import for the mismatched question will be unsuccessful. All the questions that have matching values in your file will import successfully.
- When done, save the file by keeping the .csv file format. Follow the steps below for importing the target and ranges values into Compusense.
Import Correct Responses
- Go to the Build tab and click the Training & feedback button.
- Scroll down to the Choice questions section, click Import, browse to the file, double-click it to import. At the bottom of your screen you should see a confirmation message that the import was successful.
- Review the correct responses and click Save to save the changes.
The steps outlined above can be followed when importing new correct responses or making updates to existing.
You may
preview your test and
run your training when ready for that.
