Add a Start or End Page Screen in a Test

Add a Start or End Page Screen in a Test

Overview

Example scenario: You have a multi-section test because you wish to have the same panelists evaluate two completely different sets of samples in the same sitting. The two sets of samples are set up as sections in a single test and they are alternating. This means that some panelists will see the samples from the section 1 first and others will see the samples from the section 2 first.

Because of this setup, if the initial instructions were set up in the first section, then they would be seen completely out of place for those panelists that receive the samples from the section two first! For this reason, the steps for adding cycle related text screens, will not help you achieve what you need.

Instead, you may accomplish your objective by using our Start/end page. In Compusense you have a large selection of
Text screens and Time delays to choose from to provide panelists with instructions and timed breaks.

The video below will walk you through a hands-on exercise for setting up a Start/end page (with a timer) that appears at the start of the test. You can apply a similar strategy for setting up a Start/end page without a timer.
