Sample Set Links - Anonymous Panelists

Sample Set Links - Anonymous Panelists

Overview

Example scenario: You have an important survey you want to conduct with your employees, but you want to protect their privacy and encourage their honesty. Having them log in to take the survey is not an option because their results will be linked to their names.

The typical anonymous test is not ideal either because it enables participants to click on the link more than once and take the survey more than once.

Thanks to the Sample Set Links for Anonymous panelists feature in Compusense, you can send to your employees (using an emailing application outside of Compusense) unique anonymous links to click and access the survey. Unless you ask them in the survey for their identifying information, the software will not know who evaluated which sample set.

The video below will walk you through a hands-on exercise for setting up the Sample set links option in your anonymous tests.

Warning
It is true that whoever sends the unique links outside of Compusense can technically trace back who they sent which sample set link to, but that is an extra and very intentional effort that defeats the purpose of anonymous testing. Such activity is left at your discretion.
