Enable Panelists to Pause a Test
Overview
The Pause feature in Compusense is ideal for various scenarios. Here are some examples:
- For home use tests where you want to enable panelists to start the test at their convenience (not all panelists can possibly start the test at the same time or even on the same day when testing at home) and work on the next sample the next day.
- When you need to enable panelists to take an extended break between back to back Discrimination tests, for example. Discrimination tests are not compatible with the Partial Present feature like Standard tests are, so Pauses should be used instead.
- In any test type where an extended break is required before panelists can resume their testing, such as 24 hour break after a hair product application.
You can set automated reminders for panelists to resume the test!
The video below will walk you through a hands-on exercise for setting up a simple Pause that enables panelists to pause the test and resume 2 hours later.
