Booth Setup With Redirect Loop in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge - Registered Panelists

Booth Setup With Redirect Loop in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge - Registered Panelists

Overview

For test monitoring and sample serving purposes in a lab environment, unique booth numbers need to be assigned to each device (booth). There is no need to repeat the booth setup for every new test! You can go through the process once, bookmark the page, and reuse it every time moving forward.

Better than that, you can also automate the sign out process for the panelists if they:
  1. Tend to forget to click the "Finished" button (which leaves their sample set incomplete even if they answered all the questions, and allows others to use their profile without their knowledge, which is not ideal)

    --and/or

  2. Tend to forget to sign out before walking away from the booth (which allows others to use their profile without their knowledge).

The video below will walk you through a hands-on exercise for setting up a booth for registered panelists (those that have to log in to take the test) on a personal computer (PC) with automated redirect loop to the login page.

In the video we are using Firefox, but the steps for setting up booths is very similar in Chrome and Edge, and therefore this tutorial can be applied in those browsers as well.

AlertAnonymous testing booth setup is different and is covered in a separate video.

IdeaBooth setup in Safari is slightly different and is covered in another video.
