Booth Setup in Safari - Anonymous Panelists

Booth Setup in Safari - Anonymous Panelists

Overview

For test monitoring and sample serving purposes in a lab environment, unique booth numbers need to be assigned to each device (booth). The nature of anonymous tests is such that you will need to repeat the booth setup for every new test! This is because every anonymous tests has a unique URL.

However, in our video tutorial for anonymous booth setup in Safar, on iPads, we will teach you how to save the booth setup page on the Home screen on your iPad so that you don't need to scan the QR code for each test moving forward. Instead, you would launch the icon from the Home screen, enter the Anonymous test code, and access the test. This is also useful if the browser tab for the current test gets closed down before the testing is over. By launching the icon from the Home screen, you can quickly enter the Anonymous test code and access the test again.

InfoBooth setup for registered panelists (those that have to log in to take the test) is performed slightly differently.

The video below will walk you through a hands-on exercise for setting up a booth for anonymous panelists on an iPad using Safari. All you have to do is scan a QR code for the booth setup, specify the booth number, and enter the Anonymous test code. And let's not forget saving the Booth setup page to the Home screen, which should be done before clicking "Go to test".

IdeaBooth setup for anonymous panelists on other devices and other browsers is slightly different, and will be covered in another video.
