Modify Incentives in the Panelists Library

Overview

You might have a scenario where you wish to modify panelist incentives after they were awarded in a test. Although incentives can be modified within a test, you can modify incentives in the Panelists library also.

Another scenario you might have is where you wish to award incentives to panelists unrelated to any specific tests. For example, some panelists worked extra hard overall, they collected many stars and you want to give them bonus points.

Follow the steps on this page to modify incentives in the Panelists library.

Modify Incentives in the Panelists Library

If the incentives modification is related to a specific test, prepare the test ID because you will need it.
  1. In the "Panelist" library, use the "Find panelists" feature or otherwise find and select the panelist(s) you would like to modify incentives for. You can modify incentives for multiple panelists at a time.

  2. Select "Incentives > Modify incentives".

    1. In the first dropdown list, select whether you wish to Increase, Decrease, or Set specific type of incentives.
      The "Set" option can be useful for resetting incentives to 0, but this is not the only use for it.

    2. Specify the reason for the change.

    3. Provide notes about your change for auditing purposes. The notes are mandatory for some changes and not for others, depending on the reason selected.

    4. Associate a test if applicable. This is where the test ID is important to find the right test. The test is mandatory for some changes and not for others, depending on the reason selected.

  3. When satisfied with the information entered, click "Save". If unable to save, review the selections made to ensure that required information is entered.

  4. Repeat the steps for any other incentives and modification type.
